I was able to preview an advanced screening of Community's Special Christmas Episode featuring awesome stop-motion animation (claymation)! It always amazes me how they come up with this stuff!
"Community" is a smart comedy series about a band of misfits who attend Greendale Community College starring Joel McHale, Chevy Chase, John Oliver, Alison Brie and Yvette Nicole Brown.
In this Special Episode Of Community Abed (Danny Pudi) wakes up in stop-motion animation, he takes it as a sign that he and the group must re-discover the meaning of Christmas. Meanwhile, Jeff (Joel McHale) and Britta (Gillian Jacobs) become growingly concerned about Abed's mental health and enlist the help of Professor Duncan (John Oliver). The group undergoes hypnosis to explore Abed's winter wonderland and soon unravel the truth behind Abed’s madness. Chevy Chase, Yvette Nicole Brown, Donald Glover, and Ken Jeong also star.
It is a great episode! Very funny and a great Christmas Theme! I love the storyline, its funny yet it actually has a great meaning to it. Also because it was Stop action animated they were able to get the characters to do funnier and crazier things! This was a great project! Hope everyone gets a chance to watch it, it officially airs this Thursday (12/9) at 8 pm EST/ 7pm CST. Nice change of scenery from the normal TV Shows.
